Peljesac Bridge is now open bypassing Bosnia to get to Dubrovnik

On 26 July 2022, a long-awaited bridge, Peljesac Bridge, linking Croatia southern Adriatic coast with the rest of the country was opened. The bridge links Croatia's mainland to the Peljesac peninsula in the south, allowing easier access to the country's most important tourism destination — Dubrovnik without having to cross the border into Bosnia and Herzegovina.
